How was recovery for partial hysterectomy?
I only know how it was done when I had it done. My daughter-in-law since had her gall bladder removed by laparascope, so I'm betting it can be. What you will want to do, though, is have the bladder tacked up at the same time. Otherwise, as you age, without the uterus to hold it up, it will prolapse [lower] and need to be tacked up later. Tell the surgeon you do not want to deal with a catheter. My DIL was up and around in no time, with her gall bladder gone. She just made sure not to lift laundry from the washer or mop for a week or so.
