Is rugby more violent then american football?

Lol, NFL is wussy compared to Rugby, the only reason that the tackles look so big is because they get hit unexpectedly. In Rugby you're taught to always run forward and never back, meaning never try and run away from a tackle (apart from sidesteps). Football players just throw themselves at the opposition, Rugby their is skill to a huge tackle. Well that is my opinion anway, and the all-time Rugby legends are much stronger and just as fast as the NFL legends.
