Out of it in the South?

I feel you...down here, people are very Southern hospitality, very manners, and very churchy. Every one says "yes ma'am", "no sir", and "Bless his heart!" Basically, you have to be sugary sweet if you expect to get anywhere. It's good to overcompensate. I know it'll take some getting used to, but it'll pay off and it won't be such a big deal soon enough.
