Does anybody know about fishing for zander in the river trent @ long eaton / attenbourogh nature reserve?

i've heard a few rumors of zander turning up in the trent at long eaton (nottingham) and attenborough nature reserve, can anyone confirm this?? has anyone had one out?? how can i get one??
