How do you download movies with good quailty off the internet for free?

i know that if you download movies of the internet and sell them for your own profit that that is illeagal but if you view and download them for your own personal entertainment that its very legal. Besides all of that how do you go about actually downloading them off of a site (that has them in good quailty) and puting them into your computer to put them on a cd?
