How can you tell if the head is cracked on a 1993 dodge spirit?

My car has been messing up here lately but im not exactly sure how to explain whats wrong. someone told me the head might be cracked or warpped. how can i tell if that is or isnt it. I have a 1993 dodge spirit and it is a 4 cyl
